First Impressions of the Upcoming Dart Tournament in Spain
Here’s my first blog entry, straight from Lloret de Mar!
After a pretty bumpy and windy journey, we’ve finally arrived safely. Our hotel room is an absolute winner – spacious, modern, and with a walk-in shower, which is perfect for Eva. It gives her the freedom to move around easily, and that was really important to us.
Last night, we jumped straight into tournament prep – playing a bit on the machines, soaking up the atmosphere, and getting a feel for the setup. Today, the first tournament kicks off, but to be honest with you: this Cricket on the Radical machines is really not my thing! It’s all about points, points, points. I managed to win the first leg quickly because I was just the fastest to finish, but I just can’t seem to warm up to this game format.
I’m much more excited about the 501 and 701 team competitions – that’s where things will really heat up! Right now, I’m sitting by the sea with Daniel, enjoying a cold beer in the sun, waiting for 5 PM when we can finally start the team event.
